Blues Donate to Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Every month Birmingham City Football Club take a portion of the money they have raised through the Goalden Gate Superdraw and donate it to Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity. Over the years this has accumulated to over £16,500 towards the care of Sick Kids in the West Midlands.

Helen Rawnsley from the Fundraising Team at Birmingham Children’s Hospital said “Birmingham Children’s Hospital cares for thousands of children and their families each year, and it is only thanks to Birmingham City FC that we can continue to do more for sick kids. The Goalden Gate Superdraw has helped to not only raise awareness about Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity but also raise vital funds.”

Recently, the hospital’s charity has funded some incredibly exciting projects for example they have managed to purchase new activity toys for the Emergency Department and it’s waiting area to create a relaxed environment during times when patients may have to wait a long time to be seen.

Yeovil FC Fan Wins £1,000 Jackpot!

A Yeovil Town supporter had something to celebrate as the Goalden Gate Superdraw member claimed the jackpot prize of £1,000.

Mr Mindel, from Othery, scooped the weekly top prize and was awarded with his cheque by Robin Newport from Yeovil Town’s Lottery Department. 

Pictured with his wife (right) and local shop owners Rimpal and Kinnari Patel, Mr Mindel was delighted to have won the Goalden Gate Superdraw.
