As the 2019/20 season soon approaches, for everyone at Nuneaton Borough FC, the club were quick to point out that a lot of the preseason preparations have been helped and aided by the support of fans that play the Goalden Gate Superdraw.
Nuneaton’s Club Secretary, Adam Etheridge, stated “It’s reassuring to know that we have regular income and the Goalden Gate Superdraw donations are always a big help. Over the course of the past year we’ve been able to use this money to help fund the creation of our Junior and Women’s sections of the Club, as well as improve the infrastructure at the ground. We’ve been able to carry out vital repairs to our irrigation system and maintenance equipment, as such the Liberty Way pitch is looking fantastic as we get ready for a big year at the Club.”
Over the course of last season Borough managed to generate just under £4k from the lottery scheme. Next season they are looking to increase membership through different campaigns so that the club can add to the £166,000 that has already been raised from the supporters over the years via the Goalden Gate Superdraw.
