Congratulations to Ramsgate FC fan Paul Gregory on winning the top prize of £1,000 in last weeks Goalden Gate Superdraw!
Mr Gregory was presented with his £1,000 cheque by Director and CEO Paul Bowden-Brown at a recent home tie against Guernsey FC.
Ramsgate FC and their supporters have been raising cash through the Goalden Gate Superdraw since 2013 and have so far brought in almost £15,000 to aid the Youth Development at the club.
The Goalden Gate Superdraw is a risk free £1.00 a week fundraising lottery scheme designed to help sporting clubs such as Ramsgate FC, charities and good causes raise much needed funds. All you have to do is promote the Goalden Gate Superdraw to your supporters. Every time one of your supporters sign-up to pay £1.00 a week through the Goalden Gate Superdraw your cause will benefit 45p a week. The supporter will then become a Superdraw member which will give them a chance of winning any of our sixty weekly prizes including the £1,000 Jackpot!
Midland Sporting Association is pleased to announce that over £561,000 was raised for good causes through the Goalden Gate Superdraw from June 2018 to May 2019.
This fantastic achievement included raising as much as £55k for Non-League Football clubs around the country and helping to raise over £46k for local charities such as Age Concern Birmingham and New Cross Hospital Maternity Trust. Football League clubs such as Wolverhampton Wanderers, Yeovil Town and Morecambe amongst others have also benefited through the lottery scheme to help with improve their Youth Development and Community Trusts.
Looking forward, the aim is to improve on this figure and continue to help local sporting clubs, charities and other organisations bring in much needed funds.

Over the last decade Birmingham City Football Club and Midland Sporting Association Ltd have been working together to help raise funds through the Goalden Gate Superdraw to help support the club’s Community Trust. In that time though, Birmingham City also decided to donate £100 of the money raised each month to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the overall donation now totals an amazing £17,000!
Helen Rawnsley, Fundraising Team at Birmingham Children’s Hospital said “Each and every day we are overwhelmed by the kindnes of our incredible supporters just like Birmingham City FC. Birmingham Children’s Hospital cares for thousands of children and their families each year, and it is only thanks to donations like these that we can continue to do more for sick kids.”
